Obituary for Wallace Earl Truelove

Mr. Wallace Earl Truelove, 85, of Erwin died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home.  Mr. Truelove was born December 31, 1932, in Harnett County, son of the late Ammie and Flonnie Messer Truelove. He was also preceded in death by brother, Wayne Truelove. 

Mr. Truelove was a 1951 graduate of Dunn High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from Kelly Springfield in Fayetteville, owned and operated T & L Auto Sales in Erwin, and was a twenty year member of the Gold Wing Association. 

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn to include a Time of Remembrance with Remarks 3:00 – 3:30 pm. 

Mr. Truelove is survived by his wife,  Edna Fish Truelove; daughters, Pam T. McKenzie and husband Damian of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, Zena T. Gore of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Cassy McKenzie, of Roanoke, Virginia and Josh Guy, of Greensboro, and Meredith Guy, of Wilmington; sisters, Glenda Doucet and Janet Truelove, both of Dunn; and dearly loved, extended family, Terry Gore of Kill Devil Hills, Mary Katherine and Carolyn Gore, Hannah Kenny and husband Paddy, William Kenny and Holden Kenny.
