Obituary for Kenny Davis

Mr. Kenny Davis, 66, of Gibsonville, formerly of Erwin, died Tuesday October 16, 2018 at his home.  Mr. Davis was born June 22, 1952 in Robeson County to the late Max Lennon Davis and Sarah Morgan Davis.

Mr. Davis attended Seventy First High School.  Mr. Davis owned and operated Unified Transport for over 25 years. He loved playing church and recreation league softball and he loved classic cars. He truly loved his church, but his special love was his six grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan Davis of the home; daughters, Susanne Dunigan of Wake Forest, Brooke & husband Matt Glidewell of Burlington; mother, Sarah Morgan Davis of Fayetteville; brothers, Denny Davis & wife Sandy of Eastover, Darryl Davis of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Brandon Dunigan, Trent & Jacob Holyfield, Emma, Allison & Sam Glidewell.  

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn. 

Flowers are appreciated, however memorials for Mr. Davis may be made to Erwin United Methodist Church, 600 Denim Drive, Erwin, NC 28339.
