Obituary for Eunice Mae Williams

Mrs. Eunice Mae Williams, 96, of White Lake died Tuesday morning at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Durham County on August 29, 1921 to the late Jeffrey and Mamie Whitman. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug Williams, three brothers, Jackie, Cletus and Leon Whitman and a sister, Velma Wall. 

Eunice owned and operated a daycare in Florida for 10 years. When she moved back to White Lake she made stained glass crafts for over 30 years. She was also a member of White Lake Baptist Church. 

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at White Lake Baptist Church by Rev. Walter Hayes and Rev. Lonnie Varnam. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens in Dunn. 

She is survived by a sister, Pat Earnhardt and husband Cy of Fayetteville, two nephews, Ricky Whitman and wife Becky of Mooresville, Mike Whitiman and wife Denise of Dunn, three nieces, Sandra Pirolli and husband Charles of Aniger, Lisa Whittenton and husband Billy of Fayetteville, Kim Lindley and husband David of Jupiter, FL, and several great nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. at White Lake Baptist Church. Instead of flowers the family asks that memorial be made to White Lake Baptist Church, 7636 NC 41 Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
