Johnnie began his work in the funeral home in 1988 in Greenville while he was a student at East Carolina. He lived in Greenville for many years before moving to Dunn in 1996 to attend Fayetteville Tech. After graduating from funeral service school he returned to Greenville to continue his career in Funeral Service. Johnnie returned to Dunn in January 2005 to join the staff of Skinner and Smith Funeral Home. He has worked in funeral service for 17 years and looks forward to many more years of service to the citizens of Dunn and the surrounding communities. Johnnie has one daughter, Shelby, which he spends the majority of his free time with. |
Johnnie is a native of the small eastern North Carolina town of Tarboro. He graduated from Tarboro High School in 1987 and attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He is a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associate's Degree in Funeral Service.
